What is DOC ITALY LTD?

 

DOC ITALY LTD is the culmination of Graphic Design, Music, Streetwear and Detroit's artistic culture.​ It is also a brand that expresses hard work, dedication, and style that is 100% built from the ground up.​

Every person is unique in their own way, especially coming from the city of Detroit, where there are two sides to one's vision: the dark, gritty side that everyone knows and hears about in the media, and then there's the other side: the ever growing creative community that struggles to become recognized based on raw talent and hustle.

 

What is the meaning behind #BRKGNG....and why the use of Pirates?

 

#BRKGNG is a self-made movement aiming to become a lifestyle representing breaking the rules of the norm as

well as building a new name to look out for in Streetwear and local style....brick by brick by brick.

 

The use of Pirates come from being inspired by hostile takeovers and momentum shifts and then enjoying the fruits of your labor aftwerwards.

Since when have you heard of a gang of Pirates that DIDN'T want anything after kicking the front door in with guns drawn and knives unsheathed?

There is no such thing!
 

Coincidentially, when the rebranding Doc Italy LTD started two years ago, one of the main inspirations was Rick Ross' song 'Pirates' from the "God Forgives, I Don't" album. One of the lines that resonated was: "Tryna keep my head above water....We PIRATES out here just tryna stay afloat".
 

Simply put: For as long as this project with all the years of planning, designing, researching, etc., I've somehow managed to keep this long term dream alive.
